The materials required for this course will be available from the instructor in a packet of Xeroxes. Students must purchase this packet from the instructor.

Efforts are underway to make these texts available on the internet as part of the Electronic Library of Ukrainian Literature. Please check the ELUL website for availability.

In addition to these primary materials, students must gain access to two histories of Ukrainian literature, namely Дмитро Чижевський, Історія української літератури (either in Ukrainian or in its English translation) and the nine-volume Історія української літератури у восьми томах, ред. Євген Кирилюк, et al. Київ: Наукова думка, 1967-71. Students should also have access to Orest Subtelny, Ukraine: A History, (Toronto: Univ of Troonto Press, 1988). All three of these are available at Robarts and other libraries.
